HD Flat Screen TV

HD Flat Screen TV is a new leap after the Standard Definition TV. The HDTV has a greater resolution than the traditional television systems (NTSC, SECAM, and PAL).  A standardized HDTV displays a common native resolution of 1366 x 786 pixels instead of the standard 1280 x 720 pixels. It has twice the linear resolution of standard definition TV thus giving a greater detail in image than analog TV or a regular DVD. The visual information is 2 to 5 times sharper when compared to an analog TV or a regular DVD as the gaps between the scan lines are quite small or not visible to the human eyes.

The sound quality in a HD flat screen TV is often Dolby Digital 5.1 sound enabling full, surround sound effect which gives a theatre effect even at home. HDTV supports and receives only digital signals thus giving its viewer the best picture and sound always. HD flat screen TV’s are the latest in technology and also the best one can get from a TV.
